Our ’Informed Consent’ DVD has been extremely helpful for our patients undergoing cataract surgery. Because the DVD is personalised for our centre the patient gets to see the centre, the surgeon and the staff who will be looking after them on the day. This helps put them at ease as they are usually quite anxious about their operation. It also makes it much easier for the surgeon and staff to explain the procedure to the patient prior to surgery.

We have also found it a very useful marketing tool and have distributed them to our referring optometrists and general practitioners who have given very positive feedback on how useful the DVD has been.
