video.
Using one of our flexible packages
or having us tailor one for you is easy. The Memento
team will meet with you and  discuss
your wants and needs, eliminating or adding elements
based on tastes, budget or requirements you might
have.
We typically recommend a two-camera
shoot, which essentially allows for much greater
flexibility during the edit, plus adds for overall
viewing enjoyment and a truly 'professional-looking'
result, much like a tv show or documentary. Naturally,
we can offer one-camera shooting, for the budget-conscious,
with the same care and attention to detail as
with our full-featured options. Our aim is for
you to re-live the emotions of the day whether
that be through the simplicity of an elegant and
 touching
ceremony or the explosive excitement of a lively
reception party.
The process will generally be as
follows:
Pre-Production
Meeting with Memento team members
to discuss what you like, your budget, special
requests or needs, the type of wedding it will
be, etc. We will then prepare a quote for you
and outline the details of our service. We will
request a deposit to ensure that your commitment
to us is as good as ours is to yours, and we will
block you into that date.
The Wedding Day Shoot
Camera operators will arrive early,
scout shoot locations and discuss any last minute
changes.  For
a small extra fee, we can also attend and film
the rehearsal or simply just to allow the bride
and groom to offer additional direction for the
camera person regarding the actual wedding shoot.
We will be discreet and courteous during your
wedding day and will make every attempt to ensure
the filming of the event runs as smoothly as possible.
Post-Production
This is where we whirl together the
original concept, the design, the footage from
your day, graphics, sound and music, and end up
with a great-looking wedding memento! Once we
have completed the video, you will be able to
watch it and offer any tweaks before giving final
approval for production of the DVDs or VHS tapes.
We offer reasonable prices to have DVD duplications
done for as many people as you'd like to make
copies for, complete with colour, designed insert
for the case.
In addition to your video shoot,
we can also offer simple and attractive websites
that will accompany the final video, displaying
both a highlight video online, details of the
event, photos, etc. A wedding website is the ideal
way to let friends and family that perhaps missed
the wedding (eg. they live overseas) or were there
and would just like to experience the moment again.
